Yuvraj Singh or Yuvi the legend of the Indian cricket team has played internationally in all the formats of cricket.
He is an individual who has an immense contribution to making the Indian team world champions; a person who is known for his sixes in one over. Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement on 10 June 2019 from all sorts of formats of cricket. But he recently decided to return and had officially written a letter to Saurabh Ganguly on 10 September 2020, Chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), that he again wants to be a part of cricket.
Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) secretary Puneet Bali wanted Yuvraj to think again about his retirement as according to him, Yuvraj could be the simplest of mentors for the upcoming cricketers. He is going to be a perfect coach for young boys like Shubhum Gill, Anmolpreet Singh, Abhishek Singh, and many more as he has closely observed them during the training session. If Yuvraj is going to be ready to play cricket again, then he can train them alright in terms of on-field strategies, pressure handling, and lots of other factors that came with the experience that he has. He can motivate the kids, and there’s little question that a lot of them are going to be ready to represent India on a world level. On some platforms, Yuvraj had told the media that though he had retired and he wasn’t sure earlier about the offer given to him by Mr.Bali, as he’s through with the domestic or any sort of franchise cricket, he couldn’t say no to Mr. Bali.
Though the letter has been sent to BCCI, there’s no such reply from them. So, the dilemma remains whether BCC will accept the message and permit the former cricketer to play more winnings or not. Because it is going to be a treat for his fans to see him again on the field.
