South Africa media rights are taken up by star India till the end of the 2023-2024 season. The season also includes the bilateral matches of India along with the proteas across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.

 England’s tour to South Africa association will begin on Friday. According to the future tour plans, the South Africa men’s team will play 59 times at home including the series against India, England, and Australia. The tour of South Africa is scheduled three times for “Men’s in Blue”. The starting tour will include three tests and as many as T20Is, starting in 2021- 2022.

The agreement also contains CSA’s domestic Men’s franchise matches as well as international cricket matches played by women.

Star India has the global rights of ICC, BCCI cricket and Indian premier league, etc. This will be the first time other than india to be bilateral tournament to be produced in Hindi along with English.

The partnership will start with an England kick off tour of South Africa on 27 November 2020 during which the three T20Is will be broadcast in Hindi for the very first time. This will give these matches significant reach in the Hindi-speaking markets.” Said CEO of StarIndia

Kugandrie Govender said that there are few social events included in the south Africa cricket calendar that will rally their fans up as much as the cricket showdown of India, South Africa, and Bangladesh, so they welcome the agreement with StarIndia wholeheartedly.

The agreement signs the rights across linear as well as the digital medium all India tours of South Africa. Star India has gained a huge profit from IPL recently in the pandemic times.
