Days after making the announcement about his plunge into politics, Indian Superstar of Tamil origin Rajnikanth was seen visiting his elder brother Satyanarayana Rao’s residence in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The superstar visited his elder brother at night and left for Chennai the following morning. He was there to seek his brothers’ blessing as he is set to make his long-awaited debut into electoral politics. Rao recalled that Rajnikanth had spent his childhood in this city. He lived here till the age of twenty-two before moving to Chennai to try his luck and make a fortune. Rao proudly said that this younger brother is a man of his word and would do everything in his power to prove it.
The pictures of their meet shared by the PR team of Rajnikanth showed the superstar bowing down to his brother with his hands joint. One more picture showed him wearing a Crimson colored Kanjivaram shawl while posing alongside his elder brother.
With hardly a few months left for state elections in Tamil Nadu, Rajnikanth said that he will be launching his political party at the beginning of January 2021 to contest the upcoming Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu. A formal announcement regarding political debut is expected on New Year’s Eve i.e., 31st of December 2020.
Rajnikanth had earlier tweeted that he would be expected to have a landslide victory with the support of his fans and the people of Tamil Nadu. He continued in his tweet saying that Spiritual politics will be emerging in the Southern state of Tamil Nadu that would bring transparency and honesty into the system. He also added that his way of doing politics would be sans corruption and that there would be no bias based on caste or religion in his regime. He also noted that the efforts that would be put in establishing the political party and launching the campaign would take place on a home front.
Earlier, it was being said that Rajnikanth would not take the risk of campaigning in the thick of the pandemic but last week, he blew away with his decision to form his political party and contest the elections from all the seats of Tamil Nadu.
Before getting into the electoral fray, Rajnikanth will prioritize finishing his movie over other things. Annaatthe, a movie written and directed by Shiva will be the latest movie of Rajnikanth. Almost sixty percent of the shooting has been done and the remaining is yet to be done.
Rajnikanth is a revered figure among the people of Tamil Nadu. All his movies have been a big hit and have even been dubbed in many other languages. One of the most notable works has been Robot and Shiva the boss.
