For all those who miss traveling, here is the news of interest about India’s travel bubble which is that now Indians can travel to the Netherlands and Tanzania, by extending the bubble to 20 countries. The aim to restart the commercial business which was suffering a great loss since the pandemic. These are the temporary arrangements for the benefit of both countries in terms of commercial business.
The news is a buzz among all the commercial travellers but not for those who want a visa for tourist purposes. Everyone loves travelling and needs an update on the same from time to time. It is a nice approach of extending the air bubble by allowing the people who were stuck.
The ministry has issued a notice regarding the flight services with the Netherlands from 1 November 2020, which would remain in place until arranging international flights between the 2 countries are resumed.
An air disposition has been made of India with Tanzania and Netherlands , to operate flights between the two countries. The arrangement has been set up keeping in mind the needs of the two nations regarding the commercial flights to create ease in travel services.
The Union Civil Aviation Minister of India stated that the mission is to take back stranded citizens which have started on may 6 2020 and are now will come together in phase 7, moreover, international travel can facilitate above 28 lakh persons.
In accordance with the notice, the Indian citizens in South America or Africa, or any country in the EU/ Schengen region, OCI ( overseas citizens of India), PIO ( person of Indian origin) holding passports of any country can travel through flights from Netherland to India but it is not valid for a tourist visa.
Seeing the situation, Airline was in a huge loss due to the pandemic situation and only the emergency flights were operating since May. The air bubble extension is a waving flag for those living overseas to revisit their country for any situation except the tourism part.
Any foreigners ( from South America or Africa or any EU/Schengen state) wish to visit India for any purpose except those on a tourist visa can also travel through these flights. The government has relaxed the visa rules.
The 20 countries in the air bubble include are United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Germany, Iraq, Maldives, Qatar, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates and France, Japan,
As per the mentioned notice, the flights are suspended till November 30 due to a pandemic situation.
