The AirPods max over-ear wireless headphones that were recently launched by Apple is being dubbed as the latest innovation meant to bring a new era of technology by the tech giant. As the over-ear wireless headphones don’t come with a power button on them, these headphones rather come with a low power mode and an ultra mode power mode to save battery life. The details about the working of these new features in the Apple AirPods max over-ear headphones were recently shared on its support page. A smart case is shipped along with the AirPods max wireless headphones that allow the headphones to enter an ultra low power mode, by the company. The support page also shared more information regarding the battery life of the product and the method of charging. What is being dubbed as the lower power mode by Apple, the company said that the Apple AirPods Max will also go into a similar mode when left untouched for seventy-two hours outside its smart case.

As further detailed on the support page of Apple, it stated that the product would come with two power saving modes – low power mode and lower power mode. It said that if the headphones are left untouched for five minutes, the low power mode will automatically be turned on to save battery. If the headphones are left stationary for seventy-two hours then the AirPods Max will go into the lower power mode to save battery. In the lower power mode, Bluetooth will be turned off, and the Find My functionality feature will also be turned off to further save the battery. But as soon as the AirPods Max goes into the Smart case, these headphones will immediately go into the low power mode. If one leaves the headphones in the very smart case for more than eighteen hours at one go, the ultra-low-power mode will get activated. The Bluetooth and the Find My functionality feature also gets turned off under this model. The American tech giant also explained on its support page that the users would be receiving a notification on their Apple iPhones or iPads When the AirPods Max would be at twenty percent, ten percent, and five percent. Further explaining the low battery notifications to the users, it said that a sound would be produced by the headphones when the battery level drops to ten percent followed by a second tone before the headphones turn off.

Earlier this month, the AirPods Max was launched in the Indian market by Apple with a starting price of Rs 59,990. The AirPods Max over-ear wireless headphones come with a single-button to either enable or disable the active noise cancellation and the transparency modes. These headphones also feature a crown for precise volume control to give out the better sound quality. As mentioned earlier in this article, the headphones come sans a power button.
